I was just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me what a good curling iron would be for long straight hair. It's kind of thick but will still curl very well. I want to buy a curling iron but im not sure if it should be for big/small curles, size and brand? Any ideas?

i have my hair shoulder legth.. im plan to braids my hair.just change for 3 days.so i dont have to style my hair. so im think about to braids my whole head or maybe do little ponytails.what you think?? u think looks good with colors rubber bands??

iwell back then, everytime i use gel on my hair it it usually spikes up. until winter started and i always wear a beanie instead of wearing gel on my hair. now its spring and im trying to spike up my hair and everytime i try to spike it up it always go down. what should i do. how would i make it spike up again

When i comb my hair, i can hear like the electriciy going through myhair. it's weird to explain. It's sounds like fire crackling when i comb my hair and then my hair attracts to the comb. It's a plastic comb at that. Everytime i touch a doorknob, a lock, my keys, anything, i get shocked. What could be causing this? Also my hair seems to be coming out in the spot where i usually hear the fire crackling noise. Could electricity in my body make my hair come out? Please don't think i'm crazy. I would like serious answers please.

I have really thick, long, wavy, frizzy hair. I've tried using straightening irons, but that has little to no effect on it. Does anyone know of a method or product that will straighten it, without damage?

ok so I'm planning on dying my own hair a medium brown color (t says 5G on the box) Alot fo people say I'll look good with darker hair but whenever I tell someone I'm dying it the first question is "HOW dark?" or something lyke that. I'm just a litttle paranoid its going to be too dark i have beige skin and blue eyes and I dont want to look goth or anything(nothin against oth people but thats just not me u know?) if it is too dark what are somethings I can do to lighten it without striping it bleaching it and perferably without redying it.(some like home remody stuff that works)tnxx

Okay, so I highlighted my hair on Valentines Day and didn`t get my hair wet that day in the shower (from previous experts telling me it would wash out instantly). Today after I soaked my hair for the washing process some of the dye came out. Is that normal or am I just freaking out? Is there a specific period of time I have to wait before washing my hair? Oh, they`re copper highlights by the way (they looks really orange-red-ish..)

I just ordered my dress for prom and I was wondering what someone would reccomend for me to do with my hair. I don't want an updo b.c they simply don't look good with my face but now I'm not sure what to do.

and my hair is a little more wavey then that.. is there any way I can make it a little more straight without actually straightening it. oh and i don`t really want to use a hair dryer because it just makes my hair fluffy, but if that`s what i need to do i can try. but yeah please just look and tell me how i can make my hair like that. oh and my hair is almost black, so if i got highlights would that be enough to look like that? or would i need to completely dye my hair to get it to look that color?

I have blonde hair and don't color it unless it is just the roots, but use a hair straitener on it. Also, I use suave shampoo and conditioner in the morning. However, that is all that I do to it. I went to the saloon today and they layered it and trimmed away the dead, dry ends. I want to let my hair grow out. do I need to trim the ends so often? If so, how can my hair grow if I have to keep trimming it and what can I do to better nourish it and make it look healthier?

I'm an asian guy who's been growing his hair out for the past three years. I'ts super long now. In the end I plan to donate it. I urge anyone to donate their hair if they plan to go short. Anyways, there's a couple things I'd like to do. Mohawks and cornrows. My hair's naturally straight and fine like most asian hair. I'd like to get big, thick cornrows, not like that idiot K. Fed or Jared Leto's puny ones. My cuz got cornrows. He said he had to get his hair permed first. Do I need to follow this step in order to get nice thick cornrows? And what comes with the territory(i.e. maintainance/cleaning)? Thanks.
