Brunettes have dark or brown hair. Some people will say that black hair is brunette, but it's stretching the brunette definition.

sorry,, but a brunette IS a brown haired person! It is usually any brown to dark brown hair.

Usually brunette refers to brown hair or lighter or darker shades of it but I rarely hear girls with black hair being called brunettes.

i think the term "brunette" refers to chicks with dark hair colour...brown, black etc...
