iwell back then, everytime i use gel on my hair it it usually spikes up. until winter started and i always wear a beanie instead of wearing gel on my hair. now its spring and im trying to spike up my hair and everytime i try to spike it up it always go down. what should i do. how would i make it spike up again

The best thing to use is wax. I suggest the Fructis brand, but any brand will do.

Make sure your hair is totally dry, take a bit (a tiny bit) of wax and smoosh it between your fingers. Then spike up your hair bit by bit. The best way is to hold your hand over your head, palm down, then lift up the piece and pull away from your head while applying the wax.

If you really want to keep that spike sticking up then I recommend using Elmers school glue. It works like a charm and it washes right out. Just use it like gel.
