What is the most effective way to curl your hair?

I have a curling iron and it works pretty well, but it takes SO long and my curls are usually gone within a few hours. Does anyone recommend rollers or hot rollers? How do they work and what are the best kinds?

While u have ur hair in the curling iron u could spray it with hair spray.. they might last longer.. but rollers would work pretty good too..

i like my hot curlers and i bought mine at the local wal-mart and if you are losing your curls with in a few hours maybe it is the gel or the hairspray you are using i hope this helps
