I recently got one of those expensive, high heat straightening irons and used it on my hair on and off for about 2 weeks. When I stopped using it, (after washing my hair) I noticed that my hair is only half as curly as it used to be, and has a weird sulfur-y smell, especially when it's wet (the smell reminds me of what a 'perm' smells like.) It has been about 3 weeks without using it and my hair still hasn't returned to normal. My hair is naturally really curly, but also very fine and dry (it breaks easily and is fairly fragile, for curly hair).

Is it possible that the texture of my hair was permanently altered by using the iron? Could it have something to do with styling products (only smoothing hair serum) or the pH of my hair? I miss my hair so much, and the smell is driving me and my boyfriend crazy!

I have natural curly red hair and i would like to get it highlighted. I don't want to go too blond because there are enough blonds at my school. and I don't want to cover up the natural color too much. What color would you think would be best?

okay so i have brown shoulder lenght hair, and i was wondering what shampoos are right for me? ive tried so many products and i haven't found the one i love yet. i have wavy hair, it tends to get kinda frizzy and curly when i get outta the shower. i really want the frizz to go away, and ive tried all these shampoos for frizzy hair and they dont work.any suggestions?

think you have to be to dye your hair? Like what is the appropriate age girls start dying there hair at?

And by dying i don't know just one boring simple colour, i'm talking about the fun unique stuff. :)

Now the roots are showing... my hair is originally wavy, and a little curly, my problem is that I blow dry it and it looks great but just at the front I have like half an inch before my forehead most of the hair from there to my forehead is like burned or something, and I can't keep it down, I mean, all of my hair looks good BUT that part, you know the front part, is there something I can do, or put on before blow drying it or flat ironing it...

Please help... It is justa little part but It looks horrible... I want my hair to look nice at all times, and I don't know what to do.

My mom will not let me straighten my hair, she says that it is beautiful the way it is. Well i hate it. She says that it damages your hair to. Well i say that if you use damege help shampoo and conditioner than everything will be okay. She says maybe though. I have brown hairs with blond and red in it...sounds ugly but i luv my hair! I want to dye my hair black, but have honey blond hair. If I get a non permanent dye, is there any chance it will wash out without staining permanently?

Also should I tint my eyebrows as well- they are dark blond, and I have fairly pale skin, and green/ grey eyes.
