I also have red hair (copper red). i would suggest maybe a golden color to compliment the red tone that you have. When you go to the salon for your consult ask the stylist to show you some hair swatches so that you can get a idea of what the color will look like. Also have in mind what you want it to look like.

Consider getting lowlights instead. Your hair is rather light already & you may end up closer to blond than you want.
If you do lowlights, your natural hair color will stand out and your hair will have more dimension and interest.
Maybe lowlights in a deeper reddish brown shade will work. Consult with an experienced stylist.
Remember hair dyed red is the most prone to oxidation and fading.

i have naturally curly red hair too. a few months ago, i got red highlights, with a few blonde streaks too. it didn't cover the natural color at all, it just brightened it a little.

I would say make your hair ia more reddish-brownish. It is a lot more sophisticated than red with blonde highlights, and red and blonde is not always a great combination.

I hope your face isn't like that. LOL, well I would not change it, maybe go with a darker red? Wait, you wanna highlight, not dark light! LOL, i guess that you would keep it the same. Srry

the best thing to do would be to find some clip on extensions in the color that you want, you can do chunky pieces all around and they do sell them curly like your hair......find a place that sells hair and ask them......its soooo much better than dyeing your hair so young.....and no matter what color your hair is, if you like rock, you're waaaaay ahead of most the population who listens to crap.
