Woman in her mid forties. She has been losing hair, only has one third of what she used to have last year.Yes, she is under some stress. not on any medication. But really worried to lose some more.Could that be menopausal hair loss??She has been in Japan for 2 years, she has also noticed that Japanese women lose hair too. Any help, please.

So I dyed my hair Light Amber Brown. My natural hair color is dark brown, so not much of a difference. I like the color for now because its not light light, but its still noticable.

The PROBLEM is that I used 1 bottle not realizing that it wasn't gonna be enough. I thought it would but I guess I just have that much hair. So now there are small pieces that are still dark and my roots are lighter then the rest AND the back is still a little dark. Now I'm a bit of a perfectionist and it is annoying the heck out of me that everything is not even. I also don't wanna walk around with a bunch of different shades of browns that are not highlights lol

To me its not that noticable but its just the fact that I know. I'm just afraid if I re-dye it tomorrow...its gonna get lighter.

So the question is that should I go out and buy another bottle do it again or should I just wait till I have to do a touch up and just be annoyed that its not even?

I just want 1 color.

I have EXTREMELY thick shoulder lenght hair, and I have a hard time putting it up in anything other than a ponytain. So, most of the time I just wear it down.
Could you give me some links to some web-sites that show step by step instructions for how to do pretty and simple hairdos?

I have thick dark hair and its typically frizzy and semi wavy. Normally I will put in hair straigtening product and dry my hair then straighten it with a ceramic straight iron. This is a long process for me and I was wondering if chemically straigtening will solve my frizz, poof and semi wavy hair? Is it worth it? Does it typically look nice and straight and healthy? Any recomendations?

I was planning to buy a chi flat iron... but they're expensive... And I was at the store and I saw a 1" flat iron for $15. Would it work? I don't want my hair ending up ruined. I think it was a ceramic iron as well.

My hair is very thick and I've been growing it long. It's now about halfway down my back. My problem is that the outer layers of my hair are very healthy and shiny, but the layer underneath, closest to my neck is very thin and has started to break. I've noticed split ends and dullness. I asked my hair stylist if she could trim these areas, but she said it would look uneven to trim them and not the rest of my hair. I've tried hot wax treatments, heat-styling protection, and special conditioners. I feel like I'm just wasting money. Does anyone have any other ideas? Sorry this was such a long question.
