I have fine hair, so fine that most of the usual solutions don't work.

It is baby fine, sparse, slightly wavy, medium brown with no natural highlights. It is very healthy. Anything with multiple parts (like bangs or most braids) exposes large areas of scalp, which looks terrible. If I braid all my hair, the braid is only about 1"x1/2" thick. I do not have enough hair to do layers. Slight undercutting works though. Most short cuts have the exposed scalp problem. It does not do "messy" in a good way. Almost all hair accessories fall out- bobby pins, very small barrettes, and headbands are the only ones that work. Headbands only work when it is very clean. Curls and French twists look good, but take too much work for everyday, especially curls.

At the moment, I have a shoulder-length A-line cut, dyed red. I am willing to color, perm, cut, whatever. All I can think of is a perm and/or dyeing it blond to help with the exposed scalp issue, but I still need a cut.

I'm serious, my shampoo has apple extract, pear juice, kiwi, and grape skins. It even has green tea in it.

My Snapple drink has <2% fruit juice, mostly corn syrup and some grape juice in it.

I am getting married in July, and I am desperate to find a product (gel, spray, mousse, etc.) and a curling iron or hot rollers that will actually make my hair hold the curl for the rest of the day.

I have tried both hot rollers and a curling iron and then sprayed the curls with hair spray, but it never holds like I wish it would.

Any suggestions??

Thanks!

I have been dying my hair red for years. I recently decided to switch to dark brown, but it always ends up looking like it needs hilites. Twice I have bought a brown hilighter in a box from longs and when I put it in my hilites become red! Is there anyway to get rid of this red and still put in hilites?

I always put my hair into a pony tail because I don't know how to style it.
My hair is brown, It's straight, Goes a little more than half down my back, I have long layers, and My bangs go a little past my nose.

I'm sick of the pony tail look. I lost my curling Iron in our last move but I do have a round brush and hairdryer.

I'm also thinking on perming my hair but I don't want it to be damaged cause I have very healthy hair.

Or I'm thinking on cutting it but I'm afraid too! But I miss having shorter hair because I knew how to style it.

Please any tips or website links.

I have a hairy back. Some ladies like it, some don't. I don't like it myself, but I rarely have to look at it or touch it. One former lover was upset that I had my back hair removed.

funny, im actually a natural blonde.
I had artificial darker hair and then I bleached it like a month ago and it didnt go light enough so I bleached it again today. I had bought a blonde ash colour to go afterwards but on the box where it shows samples of "if your colour is this, it will be this" it shows the dye as something that will lighten the hair. Problem is, my hair is gonna be white when i take the bleach out, so will that hair dye have any effect? I mean, it wont get any lighter and what I had intended was for a blonde dye that would look more natural. Am I making any sense?
If my hair is really blonde, can I still but a light blonde dye in it to darken it?
Im so confused, I dont know how to explain what I mean, I hope you get it.
