I've been raving about this a lot ('cos I'm so happy with mine) but if you want a permanent fix for silky smooth hair, try this treatment called STRAIGHTENEX - it's brilliant!)

I hope you mean to silky straight!! If you do mean that get a ceramic flat iron 170watts is recommended. first take good care of your hair use the proper shampoo and conditioners. No cheap ones. Use a little serum in your hair before blow drying your hair if you blow dry your hair, i don't too damaging. then take small sections of your hair and straighten it with the straightner slide it all the way down kind of slow. Then your hair will be straight and Silky. You can flip the iron under at the ends if you want a little flip. When finished use a good hairspray not all sticky kind and you'll be good to go. Hope this helps. :)
