Frizz - ease serum! its smoothes out frizzy hair after youve straightened it. Or Herbel essence has frizz free goo stuff from a squeeze bottle and i use it all the time i have curly frizzy hair and i use it when its curly and when i straighten it. and after you put the serum or goo or w/e in your hair to help the frizz try spraying a comb with hairspray and comb it through your hair. Works best for me!! goodluck!

I've never heard of it damaging your hair...I have thick hair too and mine's frizzy after straightening it. I use some smoothing serum type stuff sometimes. It doesn't make your hair feel hard like gel or hairspray could.

My hair does the same, I spray a little Suave Kids Detangler onto a normal brush (not a bristle brush) and it adds back some shine and takes away a lot of the frizz. Using a bristle brush is also helpful in nixing the frizz.

im a hair stylist.... try using a straighting gel before you dry your hair! KMS flat out style lotion is great and it will protect your from the heat of your dryer and/or flat iron and help eliminate frizz ! and no alittle spray or anti fizz product wont damage your hair!

Gels have alchohol in them to help them dry. So, yes, gel does damage hair. Use a serum(less alchohol) or Vinyl Glam by Redken(it's a super fine spray) It won't leave your hair greasy.

Get John Freda's anti-frizz and comb through before blowing it dry, then take ceramic irons and pull through until straight as a stick.
