To get rid of dandruff use head and shoulders its amazing it works very well to get rid of it.. Trust me i used it

Redken has a great new dandruff line!!! First make sure that you have dandruff and not dry scalp! If you use a shampoo for dandruff and it's only dry, you will make it worse. Dandruff is caused by too much oil in your scalp. Try Head and Shoulders for dry scalp. If that doesn't work and the flakes are yellow and your head is itchy, try the Redken for dandruff.

Prescription selenium sulfide shampoo(2.5%). Head & Shoulders use either selenium sulfide(1%) or pyrithione zinc.
If you can't get relief from over the counter selsun blue 2 in 1(1% selenium sulfide) I would talk to your doctor about getting a triamcinalone lotion that can go into your hair. It is not a cream, but more an ointment and it doesn't leave your hair icky. It is very nice and VERY effective. Priced at ~$40 for a 60mL bottle.
