I dont wana cut my hair.I have shoulder length hair.however I would like to know a few hair styles which I CAN DO myself.like french baird, different kinds of pony tails etc.I WANT TO know some websites which can teach me to do these step by step.

because i really want to change my hair before xmas vacation is over, just for fun. I've wanted side swept bangs since the beginning of the school year but i wanted to wait for xmas vacation. And recently i've been thinking that layers would be cool, too.

ok... so i have a pretty new and good hair straightener and I have to wake up at 5am(on a school day) just to strighen my hair.. so it is perfecly flat... is there any tips that anyone has so i do not have to get up at 5 AM! I do use a brush when i blow dry and I do use produts which help with the heat and all... so any tips would be helpfull! Thanks!

i have naturally dirty blonde hair and usually get it cut in long layers.. i have seen where girls have gotten the layers underneath dyed dark brown and i thought it looked realy cool and i have been thinking about getting it done.. but i don't know what is the best way to get my hair cut to do this.. if you have any opinions please let me know and if you think it's a bad idea i want to know that too. i just don't want to screw up my hair. thanks.

Hey whats up! I am black or african american but I am really light. Lighter than Beyonce. And I have green eyes and golden brown hair. I saw this girl on Degrassi that was black and sort of like me and she had blond streaks in her hair. Like where her bangs are. I think it looks really cute but Im not sure every one agrees with me. I would only streak or die parts of my hair. Small parts! Probley around my bangs or around there. And I think it would be nice. Is that fine? And my hair is not black its a golden brown type color. A really light color. Would it look ok? Please help and if you know any one who did this please tell me. Thanks!! =D

My hair is very thick and quite poofy. it's about 5 inches past my shoulder (when dry) and is FULL of curly baby hairs. i was thinking to get it relaxed or straightened but i don't know the difference between the two. Which one is better for my hair? How much will it cost and how long will it last? Thanks :)!

I got my hair cut on one side the side that was damaged and i left the other side long i can't manage short hair so after two days my hair is messed up it has grown out enough to wear braids but when i take the braids out it is still short any suggestions on products for african american hair that will make my hair grow back faster i have heard of products such as doo grow and dr. miracles but i want my hair back by may or june or at least a nice bob length any ideas on how to manage it and keep it healthy and make it grow.

I recently got my hair highlighted and absolutly hate it! Its orange and brassy looking and i hate that look. the reason im sooo mad is because i specifically told her that i do not want it to look orange or brassy! ughhh!
anyway, my problem is that Im moving in two days and my hairstylist is out of town until jan. 1st.
What do i do? Should i just call them and have someone else fix it? will they? will they charge me again?
are they going to be mad or annoyed with me if someone else has to fix the problem? i cannot continue going out with my orange head! Please someone let me know what to say to the salon or what to do?

Ok, I got my period when I was in 6th grade. It's been you know, normal. It's been regular. I am now in 8th grade. I was suppossed to get my period around 11 days ago. Over this past year I have gone from past my knees to butt length hair (I did donate some to Locksof love). The shortest my hair has ever been after a cut was waist length.

I have to say, that right now butt length has been my favorite length. Waist length seemed too short, lol.

I have shoulder lenght hair that is pretty strong and healthy. However, my edges (around my temple) is kinda thin. I've had micros before, but I'm wondering, if I tell them to braid everything except the thin part around the edges (about a 1/4 of inch space of hair) will I look silly? or will some hair gel do the trick?
