I have shoulder lenght hair that is pretty strong and healthy. However, my edges (around my temple) is kinda thin. I've had micros before, but I'm wondering, if I tell them to braid everything except the thin part around the edges (about a 1/4 of inch space of hair) will I look silly? or will some hair gel do the trick?

No, you shouldn't get them yet. Were your edges thick before you got them the first time? You should wait until your edges grow a little thicker so that you'll have a better chance of them not falling out. I've seen way too many people put micro braids in their hair and when they took them out they're edges were JACKED UP. They don't grow back for a long time either. I don't know about braiding everything except the edges....Maybe it'll look right if you gel it down nicely. DO NOT do that baby hair stuff though. It always looks a mess when people do it. You could gel it straight back or some other way.

no way, my hair is below the fastners on my bra i had so tree braids put in my hair and my edges are so thin now. I have never had a problem with my hair growing. My hair grows extremley fast, but im having the hardest time getting my edges to grow back now. I have 2 beauticians in my family, im living out of state from them and have been advised to leave the braids alone

It relies upon on how small the micros are going to be, how tight the braider grabs your organic hair, how lots you oil or grease your edges, how long you have it on your hair and what form you intend to positioned on it in. (a million) no count if that's braided too small the braiding hair is going to pull down on your edges that's wonderful hair so that's ordinary to pop off. (2) If the braid is tight which would be too lots rigidity on your edges. (3) if your hair and scalp is dry then that's going to be brittle and smash, (4) in case you have it in too long the *consult with answer one. (5) in case you get it braided and constantly pull it up in a ponytail all of the time at last the weave braiding hair is going to pull on the basis of your organic hair and dad off. On a stable notice in case you maintain it moist, positioned on it down at situations and don't go away them in too long, case in point getting the sides braided over then it particularly is going to help your hair improve. Oh yeah positioned on a satin headscarf.

You must use a sculpting spray gel which can add shape, volume and shine to your hair,so that your thin part can grow and you can give shape to them, that way it will not look silly and your problem will be solved .My friend who is a skin care consultant recomended me to use this a few months back and now i don't have such problem.you can also try this .Here is the link for that

I would actually wait until your edges thicken up bcuz the micros will bring them straight out unless u just want to make that sacrfice
