Ok I have naturally curly hair, and I straighten it with a flat iron.I have been doing it for a few years and now my hair is pretty dead.So is there any products out there(Shampoo/Conditioner/Leave-in products) that will make it healthy again? And also will look fine if I leave it curly? And advice will be appreciated...Thanks:)

For background, I have mostly straight, extremely fine, somewhat dry / unhealthy hair. It is not chemically treated in any way, and I do not blow-dry. I am looking for something to hydrate, to control frizz & fly-aways, and to generally keep my hair looking healthy and "polished" for work.

Thanks :)

Why is it that when we see guys who shaved their hair off, it's normal? But when people see a girl with a shaved head, they turn their heads or say something negative? What's up with the double standard?

I want to do hair and I've always wondered what goes through clients' minds when they're quietly sitting in the chair for a few hours.

I think about
"Is my hair going to look right when she turns me around to see it?"
"is she cutting too much?"
"how much is this going to cost me today?"

hi there, im a 15 year old indian-asian, but not a typical looking one. i have black hair and i have brown eyes. not dark brown..just brown. is there any way to naturally change hair or eye colour without the use of dyes/contacts? some people say changing food may change hair and eye colour, or staying in the sun on your hair may make it lighter. my friends hair also changed to brown because he accidently spilled clearisel on it which has hydrogen peroxidide...is it safe to do this>? this substance is also in toothpaste i think...but bleaches hair ..is it safe? thanks in advance

Hey everyone, around august or so I noticed that my hair was losing its thickness it always had, I used to blowdry everyday for high school and use Joico ICE Spiking Glue in my hair, everyday I washed it out using ICE's special shampoo and I made sure all of it came out. What looks like what happened was that ICE weakened my hair and the constant falling of it while losing thickness scared me. I purchased Biotin shampoo, vivagen shampoo along with it's scalp treatment and Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner. I knew the main thing was to ensure a clean scalp so the follicles could breathe to ensure growth. That's exactly what the Tea Tree did along with the Vivagen, I used the biotin in terms of strengthening the hair and every week or so the Nexxus reconsructor would be worked in and then be conditioned to retain moisture balance. I notice little improvement and it looks like I'm running out of options, I want back that thick hair I always had... any suggestions?

I have an appointment this Thursday to get my hair straightened and then cut. Problem is, I have very frizzy, very thin hair, which I seem to be losing at an unbelievable rate for some reason. I'm just really scared about having this done, as I certainly don't need any more hair loss. I guess if anything goes wrong, I can always just get extensions. Please let me know who has had this done and your results. Also, if anyone opted for any other type of "straightening system," please let me know what happened with that. Thanks!

My hair is about chin length and a burgundy red color... While I'm waiting for it to grow out again I need some simple, fast and easy styles I can do to my hair so it's not so boring. Please help.

Oh yeah, I'm pretty low maintenence. I just wake up and go, I usually don't have a lot of time- keep that in mind. Thanks.

I have naturally curly, frizzy hair which is an absolute nightmare! I can straighten it myself no problem, but it doesn't stay straight for long. It starts to flick out and become very frizzy! What products can I use to prevent this happening and are there any other thechniques you could recommend to get the desired style longer? Any help or suggestions would be great! Having my winter ball tomorrow night and don't wanna look like Macy Gary by 9 o'clock!!!

yesterday my girlfriend told me that in her dreams she saw me with a shaved head and I looked quite cute with a shaved head.I asked her whether my moustache was shaved too and she said she is not sure about that but she said she can never think of me without a moustache even in her dreams. She has a liking for moustaches !!!

I thought I will give her a surprise by turning her dream into a reality.

But the problem is: I feel a moustache and a shaved head dont go hand in hand and If I shave my moustache too then I am afraid my gf will not take it lightly.

What should I do?

I love how my pompadour looks all greased up, but I hate that the pomade is virtually impossilbe to remove and I hate sleeping with a greasy head of hair. Hair gels just don't do what I want, so they're outta the question. Anyone know a specific shampoo that might remove the pomade out of my hair?
