Instructions
·STEP 1: Put ice cubes in a plastic bag.
·STEP 2: Apply ice cubes to gum until gum freezes and hardens.
·STEP 3: Gently break gum away from the hair.
·STEP 4: If the freezing method fails, apply a small amount of nontoxic oil, such as canola or olive oil, to hair around gum and to gum itself.
·STEP 5: Massage oil into hair and gum; leave for 20 minutes.
·STEP 6: Gently comb out gum. It should slide out easily. If it doesn't, repeat the process.
Tips & Warnings
·You may want to wrap the ice in a washcloth if it becomes too cold to hold comfortably.
·Some hair may break off when you are removing the gum from it.
·After the oil method, the gum may be gone, but the oil will remain in the hair for several shampoos.

Peanut Butter! The oils in it break down the gum, but it takes a while.

You could try holding an ice cube against it. When it's cold it isn't as sticky so may be easier to shift. If that doesn't work I'm sorry but the only solution is scissors.

Believe or not, peanut butter will get it out. Just rub the gum with it and then wash it out with shampoo

Smooth Skippy Peanut Butter--rub it on the gum and gently comb it out. Effective and it smells great too. =^..^=

hold ice around the gummy hair...then it hardens and you can pick it out like hardened play-dough. some say you can use peanut butter...but i think it's the oil in it that loosens it. you might try both....harden the gum...then add a little veg. oil to loosen it. good luck!
