I tried this (as you do) on my highlights that were a bit washed out from the sea (had gone a bit greenish). Omgness, what a messy job, but it seemed to work! Any similar moments of madness??

I have very strong well water. It can turn my white clothes yellow and my hair is blonde, so it can get very brassy yellow as well. Any recommendations on a good shampoo that will help prevent this?

I have dirty blonde hair and am looking for a drastic change. Here's a pic of kind of what I want.

I would get it done professionally, but I just had a baby and all my money goes to her. I plan on going to Sally, and I'm sure someone there can help me, but I wanted to get someone else's opinion.

Sometimes tipping to much can be just as much of an insult as tipping to little. I've always cut my own hair, or gone somewhere very cheap like a barbor, or a chain like sport clips where I've never tipped. I have not seen my friend in a while and I kind of want to talk to her too, so I made an appt. for her to cut my hair. How much do I tip?

I usually just leave my hair down, and part it in the middle or sometimes to the side.

Hi everyone
I am growing out my hair and despite my fast regrowth it is still a long and bothersome process. I am a natural medium-dark blonde. The non-new hair is frazzled with abuse and bleach and is currently lightest ash blonde.

I was considering getting a semi-permanent dye in dark blonde to match the old hair to the new, to at least make it look a bit tidier. I'm not letting permanent dye touch my damaged hair so at least if I don't like it a semi-permanent will wash out after twenty odd washes. I'm not overly bothered about waiting for my roots to grow out even though my roots are huge now, but It'd be nice if my roots matched the rest of my hair :)

I have been going to my Hair dresser faithfully for almost 2 years. Even though I take very good care of my hair it is still breaking. My Hair dresser is very good but, very expensive. I just want to go back to brown. So my question is if I have blond hair will a dark wash (semipermanent) Really wash out of blond hair. Or will it adleast stay in enough to keep my roots from showing.

My hair is long but I straighten it so much it's really damaged and has split ends! I love it long but the only way to get all the damaged bits off is to cut it to just above shoulder length. It would be long and layered, NOT a Pob, just a cute flicky look. I generally think that looks really cute on shorter girls, but I'm 5'7.

Everyone I ask tells me not to do it because everyone likes long hair on girls- me included really. But what else can I do?

Has anyone ever begrudgingly cut their hair but ended up loving it? It would take years to grow back to the length it is now so I can't just go "never mind, it'll grow back" if I hate it.

Any advice appreciated really! I just can't make up my mind!

Is there anything I can do? Are there any mens products that can help? I shave against the grain just to get the closest possible shave. It is as though some hairs are growing from under the skin that I can not reach with a razor. Any ideas anyone???

I have tried all the major Anti-Dandroff shampoo's, and specific brands seem to work for a few weeks, but then the flakes just return, and I do not stop using the shampoo.

I do Gel my hair on a daily basis, but i have had these flakes most of my adult life, even before I started to gel my hair.

Can anyone recommend a shampoo that can be purchased without prescription)

It has been about 2 months since I last dyed and highlighted my hair and I would love to get a perm. I did this once in the past and I guess it was too soon because my hair was melting off. I did buy the special perm for color treated hair, but it still ate it. It has been so long ago that I really dont remember how long I had it highlighted before I permed. Anyone have any ideas?
