Hi, it depends what kidn of dye it is, permanent semi permanent, it depends on what kind,what brand, what colour etc...if it's permanent it stays on your hair,,,semi permanent..dpeneds if you shower your hair everyday...i'd say for about 2weeks to one month

It depends on the type of dye you used. If it is a temporary dye, it will take 3-5 washes. If it is a semi-permanent dye, it will last 2-3 weeks. But if you used permanent dye, it won't wash out. It will fade but your hair will not return to its natural color until your roots grow out.

permanent hair dye doesn't wash out it has to be cut out as the hair grows. henna dyes usually wash out in 4 to 6 weeks but I have had dye in my hair for 3 to 5 months that didn't wash out like it was suppose to.

Depends on if it was semi-permanent, demi-permanent, or permanent. Most salons use a demi, so it will wash out rather than leave obvious roots. Most hair color at the store is permanent, unless you used Natural Instincts or one of those. Tell us what kind it was. Permanent color doestn ever fully come out, you have to go to a salon to have it stripped out. The others last about 4-6 weeks. Baking Soda speeds it up, but be sure to conditon well or your hair will be fried.

If it's permanent, never; you just have to wait until it grows out or re-dye it. If it's temporary or semi-permanent, it should say how long it should last on the box.

most hair dyes are permeant when you color your hair their are temporary ones also the tep. ones last up to 3 month and thepermeant ones last up to 6months or a year depending on how fast you hair grows..

that depends, did you lighten or darken?
lightened, you will have to grow out and gradually cut off.
darkened can be stripped or again, you can grow out and gradually cut off.
