I personally HATE my ceramic flat Iron. But side affects would be breakage and your hair my smell.....odd for a little while so don't turn your iron up too high. I would much rather use a metal flat iron or a hot comb.

ceramic flat iron are bout the safest that u can use in your hair...but at the same time excessive heat is damaging to the hair and can end up damaging the ends...

I use to use a ceramic falt iron. I loved it. It made my hair nice and straight. The only problem is that it will leave your hair dry.

Excessive use of heated appliances for your hair wil cause dry, brittle, dull, and hair breakage. Heat distroys hair. You must add moisture to reverse the damage. Apply a moisture rich product befor using heated appliances and after. Extra moisturizing shampoos and condtioners will help also.

well my best friend has naturally super curly hair well after about a year of using a flat iron her hair has lost most of its curl and she can not get the curl she wants when she wants to wear her hair curly so if you do not want curly hair at all keep on ironing but if you like your curls stop...
