Everyone is getting blonde streaks. I really want red but my mum said they would look horrible on me. She said thick blonde-goldie highlights would be cool. But since every one's got them... I'm hesitant. So I'm going to get Couleur Experte with the highlights from L'Oreal, so that if any one at school says anything, I'll just wash it out 3 times a day. Any advice?

i puff it out, because i hate flat hair, it looks stupid. when i dyed my hair, it was damaged, and it made my hair puffy. after a view days, it would only stay puffy for a short time. i sue tons of hair spray and gel to make it poofy, but it still goes flat afterwards. how do i make it STAY puffy?

I've always dyed my hair before washing it, my hair stylist recommended me not to dye it when my hair is clean, but I have to dye my hair today and I've just washed it. What kind of an effect would it make on my hair?

Okay, I want to shave my pubic hair, and have done it a few times, but after I do so it gets all bumpy and red and it looks gross. How am I supposed to please my partner if even I'm ashamed of my pubeless self? Any suggestions on how to not get bumps?

I want to dye my hair red (it's medium brown now), and I'm pretty resigned to the idea that it's probably going to need to be bleached or lightened in some way first. That's not too much of a problem for me, but I hear, and it's understandable, that it will fade, and, given that the hair underneath is white, it will fade to a pinkish color. A few questions:

1) Is this true?

2) For those that this has happened to, did the color look passable on you, or was it silly enough to continue re-dyeing red or to make a color change?

3) So I'm assuming it will never technically go back to the bleached-blonde look, right, just a lighter version of the original red. Correct?

4) When it does fade like that (if it does), could I apply a brown color that roughly matches my roots and just be happy with everything after the great "red experiment" was over?

Thanks so much for your answers; I just want to get this right!

I am growing my hair out for an emo/punk hairstyle, but i have had long hair before and i have very thick hair. I need to make it thinner permanently, which i know is probably impossible. But i need to make it appear a lot thinner while i am growing it out. I used to have very short, spikey hair and so i have a while to go. I want it to reach my nose or lower when right now it is only at my eyebrow and already it is very thick.

I am 20 years old and naturally sandy blonde, I've had blonde hair ever since I was born. Even my eyelashes and brows are blonde and my husband likes me this way. However, I'm fair complected and I feel I look washed out. I do highlight it to make it look better though. I'm sorta tired of being this color, people have ruined the look of blonde by making it look trashy, since most porn stars are this way or they bleach it. Should I dye it darker or what? I'm really comfused.

I would like my hair to grow alot faster but due to my recent diet I believe it's been slowing it down dramatically. How would I speed up the growing process for hair on my scalp? What should I be eating more of and are their any healthy alternatives I can look toward? Such as pills? Whatever it is please mention it and any side effects it could possibly have. Thanks for your help ^^

i'm korean so my hair is black. I wanted to dye myhair red but after realizing that not only will it be a hassle to keep it looking good, it might look kinda weird on my yellowish skintone. I notice alot of other asian girls have this mahogny hair color and i think it looks good but i want to be able to stand out. Any ideas? I say asian because sometimes mynatural hair color doesnt react to hair dye like white girl's do.. if anyone understands
