Iam 16 years old and my hair is slow at growing my hair has never really gone past the middle of my back i really want it to grow waist length and fast because i want 2 get that long straight black hair look and im desperate for this look :( i currently have blonde streaks through my hair and dry ends but i recently got a trim, my hair is shoulder length and i take GNC NourishHair tablets and i would also like to know does biotin really make hair grow faster? because i really want long hair and i want it fast!help

I took the Nourishair and Biotin together for 4 months, and now am switching to Procaps labs "hair skin and nails" formula because they are easier to swallow than the GNC giant tablets.
Also the GNC pills have only 1200 mcg of biotin while the Procaps labs capsules have 2500 mcg of Biotin plus more trace minerals. If you take the GNC, I'd add at least 1500 mcg or more of biotin to it because its not really giving you that much.
Right now my hair is growing super fast, thick and dark and I take 5000 micro-grams of Biotin daily.....that is equal to FIVE milligrams, so be sure of the units when taking your Biotin.

HEYYA!! I actually work in a GNC store. Biotin is great for growing hair and nails, I take it myself the 2500mg one. Silica makes your hair strong. Use apple cider vinegar (you can get this at gnc) or sage tea as a rinse to make your hair grow. Aloe vera gel, vitamin C and E and jojoba oils are all good as well.

I took biotin it seemed to help my hair but Im not sure because at the same time I took a new vitamin so maybe try that or a hair ,skin and nail suppliment. I swear by them.

I bet if it was a lawn and you had to cut it, you wouldn't want it to grow fast. Hair takes time . This will give you plenty of time to ponder the reason why it's so important to you. Perhaps more confidence in yourself is needed. Think about it. Best Wishes

make sure you get a trim every few weeks so that old hair folicles at the ends don't interfere with hair growth.
