Try Nexxus products...you might not need to wash it everyday with good maintenance.

The Thing Is Why Your Washing It Everyday? Is It Because Ur Hair Gets Greasy Coz If It Is By A Shampoo That Is For Greasy Hair! My Hair Gets Greasy Everyday But I Use Herbal Essenses And I wash It Ever Other Day And It Still Looks Beautiful! And Same If It Dry Find A Shampoo That Agrees With Your Hair. Another Reason Y Ur Hair Looks Bad The Nx Day Is maybe The Way You Wear Your Hair E.g If You Have It Up Or You Put Products In it!

I know this might sound a little odd but you need to train your hair to get used to not being washed every day! Just rinse it in the shower every other day or every couple of days and then wash it properlya couple of times a week. Thats what I do and it looks clean. Or if you're having a bad hair day where it looks like it needs a wash, sprinkle talcum powder on your head - this drys out the oil and makes your hair look like its just been washed or a product which I've recently discovered is dry shampoo, you can buy this from boots for only a couple of pounds.

My sister has the same problem. Firstly when you wash your hair don't put your conditioner on your roots, just on the ends which need conditioning. She was also told that if your roots are greasy but your ends are dry, before you wash your hair put a little baby oil in the ends so that the shampoo doesn't strip your hair. A good quality shampoo helps, like Redken or Aveda.
There is also a spray from Lee Stamford, which is like a dry talc and it smells lovely. It revives the roots and stops them looking greasy, which wil give you an extra day. If your hair is long, then spary this stuff on and tie it back with a bit of hair spray.

There are only two things I can think of and they are.
1: Will power it is hard to get out of the habit of washing your hair ever day and what you could try is that when you have a shower just let the hair get wet no chemicals or use something like baby shampoo as this is meant to be used every day has no bad chemicals in it that will strip your scalp of all its oils that are needed.
2: You can buy dry shampoo like a powder but once again it is putting un nessasary chemicals in hair.
Try the no shampoo just wet then baby shampoo if that fails.
Good luck it will be worth it in the end their is no need to wash hair every day as you are taking out natural oils hair/scalp need to grow and be healthy.

Washing your hair daily is a terrible addiction.. I know! But recently I have been using a new refreshing Sunsilk product. If your hair gets too greasy too soon, wet your hair with cold water and apply the Sunsilk spray to the ends of your hair avoiding your roots. Your hair will feel fresh and it will last throughout the day.

Normally the only reason you would need to wash your hair every day,is if it is very oily. Otherwise it is bad for your hair to wash it everyday. I would advise using a shampoo for oily hair and little or no conditioner, Or condition every other time you wash. Also if your hair looks bad put it up, it's a lot less noticeable that way.

Your hair will look greasy because you wash it everyday. Every time you wash your hair you get rid of some of its natural moisture so it therefore has to work overtime to create more. The more you wash your hair the worse it isfor it. I used to have the same problem as when i didn't wash my hair everyday my fringe used to look really greasy. You just have to break the barrier and start washing it everyday. Within around 3 weeks it'll stop looking greasy everyday, washing your hair alot is actually making it greasier!!

Actually, leading tricologists (hair/scalp experts) advise that you should wash your hair daily! If its not looking/feeling good, you're most probably using too harsh products. Go for the best quality products you can afford, and those recommended for frequent use as they're the most gentle. If its long enough, try tying it back into a loose chignon (bun) on the nape of your neck, it looks groomed and flatters most people and is smart for work.

actually your technically not supposed to wash your hair everyday, when you do it washes away the natural oils in your hair... so actually when there's days that i dont wash my hair and i have to go to work, i use a detangler and put my hair up... most of the time in a bun, a messy bun, and no one can tell im having a bad hair day, and a lot of times people like the messy bun look... and its good cause your hair is up and out of your face, and even though it may be oily, it doesnt really look oily at all...

try styles where you put your hair back in a ponytail or clip part of it back.
If you try The Body Shop (and other stores do it too) you can get this serum for your hair where it makes your hair think it's producing enough oils so that it won't produce anymore. It's a great way to stop your hair from getting any greasy feeling and keeps it looking healthy and shiny.
