when i make my hair puffy it only stays like that for about an hour. how do i make it puffy for a long time?

i puff it out, because i hate flat hair, it looks stupid. when i dyed my hair, it was damaged, and it made my hair puffy. after a view days, it would only stay puffy for a short time. i sue tons of hair spray and gel to make it poofy, but it still goes flat afterwards. how do i make it STAY puffy?

You know there is a thing called waying your hair down with too much sprays and such so mayby you are making it worse. I have the flattest hair ever and that is without exsaduration, so I know alot about it.
Remember to backcomb your hair while hair drying, put curlers in at the top of your head if you have time as the roots are the ones that are trying to get down.
Always put a light hairspray designed for your hair type on, leave it to set while head is upside down and you will be fine.
Mayby though you have your hair too long, if you had shorter hair mayby you wouldn't have so flat hair - or your hair gets too greasy. Try a shampoo for oily hair.

PS - If you are trying the big big hair out it will never work on you so get a different hair style.

Try a volumizing shampoo, mousse, or hair spray. But be careful because these can weigh your hair down after a while. Some of them are made not to do that. Just in case use a clarifying shampoo once or twice a week (only use this often because it can strip your hair of what it needs) to clean all the crap that sticks to your hair. Maybe even try curling your hair for volume. Good luck! :)

Make it super super clean. And non- greasy. Dirty, greasy hair will not puff. If that doesn't work, try blow drying your hair. A hairdresser could help too. Take care.
