If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Ultra Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see results.

Putting stuff ON your scalp will not help speed the process that goes in IN your scalp. Take prenatal vitamins, or just begin taking 2 regular vitamins a day if you're to embarrassed to buy those. The extra protein and calcium will give your hair what it needs.
Having an altered diet means that your most important organs get the nutrients first. Hair is at the bottom of the chain so it gets whatever is left.
Side effects: Vitamins tend to make me nauseous (sp?) so I take them at night after I eat a full meal.

You can't. It's like trying to speed the growth of your fingernails. Those shampoos and pills don't work (I tried one after I decided I hated a haircut I had at the time). Anything that advertises that it can make your hair grow is a scam. No special diet will help your hair grow either. Your body grows it's hair and fingernails at a certain rate, similar to the way your body's metabolism works (except you can't speed it up). There is nothing to speed it along. The only real way to help it along is by regularaly trimming your split ends so that they don't get worse.
Sorry. You're just going to have to wait it out.

There is nothing that will make your hair grow faster. Hair grows half an inch a month, six inches a year. It is possible to grow healthier hair though. Think about what you put into your body, what you eat. Get your self some biotin that really helps. Only take the recommended dosage. Good luck

Age, menopause, pregnancy, genetics, illness, and other factors all play a role in hair loss. Sure, you can use drugs or you can go in for a hair transplant or fusion, but sometimes the easiest, most inexpensive solution, is to try to stop hair loss naturally.

Research foods that benfit the hair. And I know massaging your scalp will help it grow in thicker, it might help it grow faster also (because it brings blood to the scalp)
