Which do you think gives a better haircut for guys. A barbershop or regular (unisex) hair salon?

I'd put my money on a regular salon. A lot of barbers assume that most guys want (or *should have*) really short hair. Sometimes they'll just shave it without really listening to you.

So I'd recommend a unisex salon if you're looking for a unisex cut. But wherever you go, be specific and assertive with your directions. Wherever you go, there are stylists who tend to push their opinions of what looks good on their clients.

Unisex hair salons will probably do your hair better and give you better advice, but is almost always perceived as "girly" for a guy to go to a hair salon. However, that's what I would advise. They'll probably give you a better cut, a better environment, better advice. SuperCuts is a "chain" salon, so it really depends which SuperCuts you are talking about. Some places, it's great, others, it sucks.

I recommend the hair salon. They seem to be alot more professional and have the ability to cut hair with just sissors and comb. I believe that when you walk out you should feel good about yourself and your hair. Best Wishes.

If you plan on buzzing your head with a no2 or 3 clip you might as well save your money and visit the barber.

Barber's by far are a lot cheaper, if he'll cut with scizzors and do the job you want, by all means save a buck !
