Okay, I want to shave my pubic hair, and have done it a few times, but after I do so it gets all bumpy and red and it looks gross. How am I supposed to please my partner if even I'm ashamed of my pubeless self? Any suggestions on how to not get bumps?

Alright I am a guy, but gay all my friends are women. Oddly enough we had this grose conversation last night. Things men don't need to know. They all moisturize continuously, and also lightly scrub the area with those luffa's. Basically exfoiliate, and then moisturize. That even includes waxing, and they say wait a day after shaving and/or waxing before showering. Helps with the engrown hairs (stubble).

I have very sensitive skin and have experienced 'shavers rash' like you. I tried waxing but reacted badly to that too. A friend told me to trim the hair right back for at least one day prior to shaving, this helps lessen the rash effect. I did that and now shave every day and have found this suits my skin. No more rashes hurrah!

One word of warning though. If you do have sensitive skin wait at least 24 hours after any hair removal treatment before using moisturisers or deodorants.

Good luck.
