If your hair is dry don't wash them every day! Shampoo and hot water are the biggest moisture zappers there are!
<>First of all get a shampoo that is for animals and humans (I pesonally recommend Mane 'n Tail) So you can be sure that there are no chemicals.
<>Then, get a good hairmask. Use it every other month.
<>The months you don't use the hair mask pour oil on your hair in the shower and wash and condition as usual.
<>Every week put a mayo mixture and leave in over night. Wash it out in the morning.
Here is the Recipe:
1 cup mayo
1/4 cup sour cream
1 raw egg
1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
<>Mix together and slather on dry or wet hair.
<>Massage into your head for 5 minutes.
<>Put a shower cap on your head and a towel on your pillow.
<>Wash out in the morning.
(<>if you can't sleep with it leave it in for at least 1 hour and then wash out in the morning).
<>If you have oily hair pour lemon juice or vinigar on your hair instead of the oil.
****<>****Always do a final rinse in cold water. This will seal up the hair cutical and give you shine, and a lot less breakage.****<>****

I use Dove shampoo and conditioner it works great, I leave the conditioner on longer to moisturise my hair better. I also think Aussie Mega Moist works great and try a hot oil treatment they work great and can be purchased at any drug store, but Wal-Mart is cheaper.

Try using Color Treated Hair shampoo by Biolage (even if your hair isn't color treated it has extra stuff to protect and moisturize your hair) and try All Soft conditioner by Redken. Redken also has other lines depending on what condition your hair is in. I use the All Soft conditioner and it works great. My hair is strong and very soft and shiny. People are always touching my hair. :) Good luck! :)
