I cut my own hair and it looks great; except I've developed huge split ends. My hair is healthy and not processed. Is it possible that my scissors were too dull and created the split ends? What kind of scissors should I use?
I want to keep cutting my own hair since it looks great. I usually have to pay $25 for someone to trim my hair, but they don't do a good job.

I'm from an Italian background & quite dark skinned & naturally have quite noticeably darker facial hair, particulary on the upper lip or should I say a slight tash! It's not really a major problem as I have been bleaching it for years now (which incidentally is a pain in the backside to do!) Can still see it but not as noticeable as it would be if it was dark. I don't want to wax or shave etc as I know my hair & I know it would grow in like a man's moustache - not very nice eh! Can't afford all these fancy & costly laser treatments, electrolysis etc. Anyway, my question is when I am bleaching, all the hair doesn't come out blonde and it leaves tiny little black roots no matter how long I leave the bleaching cream on for. So have started to pluck these hairs out but they are starting to grow back very wiry and tough like a blokes growth! I pluck them out too when they are long enough for the tweezers to grasp. Any advice, thinking about using hair growth minimising cream, do they work?

Whenever Winter comes is like it's the same for my scalp...lots of snow.
How can I get rid of flakes? I use hair gel, but this only happens when the cold season comes.

I have long curly hair and I bleached it a few months ago. The color came out in three different shades, blond on top, brassy in the middle, and ultra blonde on the ends. I'm going to get married in Dec. and I need to get this fixed! I'm on a limited budget and was wondering how much it would cost to get my type of hair fixed. Please help!

I am getting my hair done in a NICE salon, it is going to be about $80.00 to get a color and cut. I usually go to (Fiesta, Great Clips, Fantastics Sam's) that type of place and I tip a few bucks. I am for the first time getting my hair done in higher end salon, I am wondering what the average tip would be or should be. I don't want to be a cheepskate and I also do not want to spend a ton of $$$.
