Regular mayonnaise is not good for your hair. They do make hair mayonnaise which is what you want to use. It is an excellent conditioner that I use for my own hair and my children. It really works and I have horrible hair but it makes your hair shiny and look really good. It doesn't leave it greasy and it doesn't smell as bad as regular mayo but the smell does not stay in your hair.

yes - years ago a top model (Marie kelvin or something that sounds like that) used to recommend it and she had the most amazing hair. it was lovely, shiny and bouncy. apparently that's all she used.
that again said i think it would be much better to use a conditioner as they are designed for hair and will probably work a lot better.

My mom was a hairdresser and I remember hearing this since I was a kid. I have tried it (after getting a really bad perm) and it didn't leave my hair greasy but my hair is extremely dry to begin with. I don't believe it will hurt your hair. I use Bio Silk now and it is great for taming frizzies and makes your look shiny and healthy.

Not heard that one but I have heard the conditioner you put in your washing machine and that you put on your hair is almost identical in the make up.

Mayo is made from oil and egg whites, which is protein. It doesn't hurt your hair but if you have a problem with greasiness to start with, I wouldn't go dumping a bunch of mayo on your head.

Why would one want to put condiments in thier hair? I suppose one could use ketchup to color their hair red too, but I do believe there are better products to use.
