Bun or short hair. My mom was in the military and my dad still is.
You could do braids. You just have to make sure that there are no loose hairs.

My hair was long and i would wear it french braided and tucked the tail under the rest of the braid. Your cover fits nicely over it, you look professional and its within regs.
