Hair - October 2006

Hi. I'm a 13 year old girl with really pretty wavy chocolate-brown hair 2-4 inches past my shoulders. It's reaalllyy healthy and stuff. Only thing is it's frizzy...really frizzy...EXTREMELLY frizzy (well..not that frizzy) and when I go to school and stuff i can't put my hair down like i love to because of the frizz..so does anybody recomend anything? like certain hairstyles or hair remedies that help tame frizz? If you offer hairstyles then remember that I only have about half an hour to do it every morning and I loove creativity so give me everything you've got!!..and I don't like to use ton-loads of gel..=) I'm open to blow drying my hair but not ALL the time so um...any help?

Do you think it is other people do not want to see us in our curlers or that it they think that it is a fashion No No

I think that we gals should be proud of wearing rollers and be confident in the knowledge that we are looking after our hair in a safe manner
So if we need to pop out for an errand we should not be afraid of being seen with curlers in our hair. "unlike the old clairol add curlers in your hair shame on you"

1)Keep my hair healthy and shiny

2)Provide protection from the flat iron (which I use daily)

3)And keep its scent in my hair even AFTER I flat iron it

My hair used to be very soft and smooth, and now it gets tangled everytime I turn around! It'll be fine for about a week, but then it gets so tangled that it takes me literally 3 hours to undo it! I wash, condition and brush my hair everyday. I do go to sleep with it wet, down, and uncombed, but I brush it in the morning. What should I do? I'm tired of this!!

How do get/or mantain a good hair length. I know it takes time for hair to grow(especially our hair) just wondering if their are any good hair tips. I know black hair is diffrent from other races, but I know some black women with good lenths. Like how ofter do you wash it? I wash 2 times a week. what is your process after your wash? as far as combing and blow drying. I just want to get a good length! any tips would be appreciated!

I have very bad split ends, almost every piece of hair i have has a split end, but I am trying to grow my hair out, and i dont want to get it cut at the salon, or pay the money when I just went a couple weeks ago.

I've got mousey blonde hair so ive always had highlights. I ended up hating having blonde hair as i've also got jet black eyebrows and eyelashes. I decided to get it dyed a light brown colour, and it looked ok but a after a few days it went a funny colour in the sun, so I tried dying it a dark brown colour, and now it looks almost black!! I don't want a colour that i have to constantly re-dye as I don't want to ruin my hair. Please help!!

I'm thirteen years old and I hate doing my hair. With a passion. I usually just throw it up in a quick ponytail or a messy bun and I haven't done anything else with it since school started. I sort of have a bad haircut because the chick cut my bangs too short and I can't straiten them with out them sticking strait up. So if anyone has some suggestions for a cute, quick, easy hairstyle to do in the mornings before school then that'd be pretty cool. Whoever gives me the most hairstyles that I like gets ten points. Oh and I don't know how to do braids so don't suggest that unless you can tell me how to do them.
