I have tried hairspray and that dosent work.

Fabric Dryer sheets. Just take one and rub your hair with it. Works great.

Put conditioner in your hair after you get out of the shower. I started doing this a few years ago and haven't had a fly away problem since. You could also buy a leave-in conditioner but regular conditioner seems to do just fine. Lotion works as well but don't put too much in your hair.

After I rub hand lotion in my hands I wipe the residue in my hair. Stops fly aways on the spot!

I use hair gel that doesn't flake. I like the clear ones better.

Try gel. It holds better than hair spray.
