As long as you are a good person, the color of your hair won't change that. I never did a really wild color myself (mostly because I have worked in places that would not accept it since I was 16) but lots of my friends did. It's a fun thing to do while you are young enough to get away with it. Are your friend's moms making a big deal to the point of trying to keep you all from being friends? If so, if you are otherwise not a typically bad influence so they have other cause to feel that way, you should sit down and tell them you are just having some fun while you are young and you are the same person inside. Make them understand this is a temporary thing. If they are not taking it that seriously, well everyone is entitled to their opinion. If your dad says it is okay, and you don't have an employer complaining about it, then enjoy your youth and have some fun. I would let my daughter if she wanted too (although she is only 5...LOL...maybe in a few years).

Yes, my natural color is brown. I've had blonde highlights manytimes. I once had blonde and red highlights. I once dyed my hair a bright red with a semi-permanent hair dye. It eventually faded to a brown-red hair color. I again got bleach blonde highlights. And I then got dark blonde highlights. During the summer I dyed a strip of hair a really vivid blue. :) BQ: Yes, I love ombre hair! I would do it, but I don't want to damage my hair anymore than it already is!

I have been colouring my hair since i was 15, i started with reds and burgany's, and as i turned 18 and hit the club scene i went for bleaching it out and putting the colours of the rainbow in my hair, i loved it but my family thought diffrently, but they were supportive, and knew i'd grow out of it adventually. which i soon did with moving out and needed a real job for actual bill paying, and well purples blues and greens weren't exactly they way to get a good job. but now i'm in my higher 20's and i still colour my hair darker or lighter shades then my natural with highlights, and my husband hates it, he wants the natural look, and i just can't let go of the colour. any way enjoy the colours of the rainbow in your hair just make sure you know when its time to let it go.

I never have dyed it a unatural color but my sister has dyed it everything from bright red to purple and my parents pretty much tell her she can do it as long as she takes care of it and it doesn't get damaged too badly.

yup in high school I had maroon hair but it kinda purpley looking i loved it! I also had pink highlights all through college but got rid of them when interviews came for med school. I am really preppy but I just think it's fun to do I mean why the hell not

i died mine temporary purple for halloween and it washed out to a very red color. It was my mom idea, her favorite color is purple. We didn't know it wouldn't come out fully. She was fine with it. Its just hair.

I once dyed my hair dark brown. Since it's naturally light brown, hardly anyone noticed.
