Do you think it is other people do not want to see us in our curlers or that it they think that it is a fashion No No

I think that we gals should be proud of wearing rollers and be confident in the knowledge that we are looking after our hair in a safe manner
So if we need to pop out for an errand we should not be afraid of being seen with curlers in our hair. "unlike the old clairol add curlers in your hair shame on you"

I think many people believe that walking around in public with rollers in your hair is on the same level as going around in public with a mud facial; it just isn't proper. They believe the home or a salon is the suitable place for hair care.

It's true; you don't see many women walking around with rollers unless they are at home. Some are embarrassed to do so. Even when company comes over unannounced, the women sprint to the bedroom not wanting to be seen with their rollers.

If women do go out in public like that, they will usually wear a nice scarf or some kind of covering so it won't look too evident.

But hey, whatever floats your boat. If you want to rock them rollers in your hair in public, keep on keeping on...

Because it is so old fashioned. Does anybody use those? I thought they belonged to the era of the black and white tv and movies. The heated one you buy these days can be taken off in 15 minutes to half an hour. And use a curl conditioner. Better yet, get a perm.

They never were bold enough to say it in my face. I always get remarks like Your hair is going to look great when you remove the rollers. Who sets your hair? There so straight and neat. I always roll up my hair nightly with 45 large magnetic rollers.

Its because in todays society, women are expected to look impressive.

We usually are always seen in our best state....and it shocks everyone when we arent.
