So my face is round and my cheeks are chubby. My hair is quite thick and is only managable right afte combing or so. It gets all soft and smooth, but after a few minutes- Boom. It goes out of control and goes puffy and kind of dry. I think it's the humidity, 'cause I live in the Philippines, where my hair goes crazy when I'm not in a cool environment. Any tips on what hairstyles I can put my hair up in? Just simple stuff. And what to do about my hair's reaction to the humidity?!

I have really long hair, about medium thickness. It's naturally very wavy and very frizzy. A few years ago I started ironing my hair with an actual clothes iron (no, my hair isn't falling out). Sometimes I use a straightener, but my hair is so thick that it takes forever and doesn't come out that great. I also blow dry my hair as straight as I can get it before straightening.

I take good care of my hair, get regular trims, use salon products. It's actually pretty healthy looking depsite all of the abuse from styling it. Anyway, I live in Florida, i'm kinda used to the humidity, but I may be moving to Miami next year, which is a lot more humid than where I live. I'm not going to have anyone to iron my hair for me, so I'm going to have to get a straightener.

I'm not sure which one I should get. I've used to Chi before and wasn't really impressed. I've looked into the Sedu, but that might make my hair a little too flat (I still want it to have some fullness to it).

Its just that my hair is very dry through chemical and heat abuse. I have been told that by leaving my hair alone to grow naturally, it will eventually regain good condition. This advice includes not washing with shampoo but just rinsing with water. I know that to begin with, my hair will feel greasy etc, but I just wondered how long it would be before it started to feel better? Has anybody done this before? are there any other real natural men or women out there? I look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks

My lil sister has such a bad scalp. She gets her hair washed about 3 times a week, and the very next day her scalp is flaky. Im talking really big scaly patches. She has a head full of gorgeous hair, but im scared it's going to start breaking off due to the condition of her scalp. She doesnt have lice (never has), and her dermatologist told her it was psoriasis and gave her a medicated shampoo that did NOT work. She's tried Head & Shoulders & Selsun blue, & they work temporarily but then her scalp goes right back! Its really really bad. WHAT CAN I DO FOR HER??

I think they're still very gnarly. But obviously, they're out of style.

I have damaged my hair with too many color processes, and would love information on the best conditioners or home treatments to cut down the frizz a bit while healthy hair grows in.

My hair is very very curly and I rarely straighten it because it just looks brittle when I do. I have worn the same hairstyle for years because it looks alright that way. The thing is I am bored with it. Anyone have any ideas on how I could wear it differently. Its length is midback. It's all one length, and I have bangs, Right now I wear it parted to the side and a lil puffed on the top. People always like to play with my hair and they tell me how lucky i am to have it but its a nightmare to try and find a style for it. Oh, one thing I wont do is cut it because it took me years to get it this long.

As I said before, I have a very oval shaped face which would normally be a good thing, but my cheekbones are not very pronounced. I have large eyes and full lips which helps to make my face not look so long, but I my current style doesn't help. I don't have a huge amount of time to do my hair every morning, and I my hair is currently long and artificially straightened. What type of hairstyle would you suggest? I could return my hair to it's original thick, wavy state if that would help... It would just be nice to have a more polished look.

I used Clariol, level 3 permanent from a box. It came out bright reddish orange. It was suppose to be dark red. I want to go back to my natural dark brown hair color. How long do I have to wait? I want to re-dye it ASAP.
