How would u go about dying dark brown hair in order for it to come out just plain brown? ( a lighter shade ) I know bleaching is prob not necessary, but which brand or actual color would u use?

you'll want a semi-permanent color that has peroxide in it to lighten your hair, even if it's only a shade or two different. nutrisse is great - lots of color choices, and it lasts a fairly good amount of time (about 5-6 weeks).

Try Loreal Feria hair color for an at home dye job. They have several colors specially designed for people with naturally brown hair. The colors will lighten your hair and make it more shiny.

try Loreal...
i used it a little and it's still there..
it was about an year ago too..
my brother used it too and the red in his hair is still there

try using auburn
