Hair - October 2006

About a week after my first weave, it started to become tangled throughout the day right at my neckline. At first I thought it was from my necklace, but it's not. The packaged stated that it was 100% human hair, the brand name I used was Milky Way. I will be getting a fresh weave in a few weeks and want to know if there is anyway why this is happening.

I'm having a hard time buying the right prodcuts to wax hair off my body. Any good results on waxes you have or tried? What are the bad products I shouldn't buy? I've tried the Sally's wax strips and these wax where you microwave it to warm it up and then just apply it on, wait til it dries, then remove. Any recommendations?

Don't get me wrong. I am Asian. Is it just me or does anyone out there think Asian's who dye their hair blonde or orange and wear light colored contacts look bad? I am not trying to make anyone mad. I just think it looks so unnatural. I don't think dying your hair lighter is bad, but come on...blonde?! I know, to each their own. Do whatever you want. Don't judge a book by it's cover and yada, yada yada. Just want to know what you guys think.

I have curly hair, its not ultra curly but it looks like a loose perm. I have long hair which i normally straighten but im sick of doing this so i want to be natural and curly. at the moment my long thick hair drags the curls down, i want to keep it long but how do i keep it long but curly at the same time? what style do i go for and what do i tell the hairdresser?

For instance, I can buy Paul Mitchell at the salon or at the supermarket. On the label it says that the product is guaranteed if bought in salon...what is the difference? I'm not concerned with price...I understand that.

I am going to a salon that is certified in relaxing hair in one of the systems in the Japanese way. What I want to know, is, after I go to the salon and relax my hair, and afterwards take good care of my hair, so it'll be okay, will my hair be damaged? I'm having second thoughts,because some people said they loved it, and some people said they hate it!

But, if I take good care of my hair ... will my hair be okay?

Hi

Can anyone please let me know how much does it costs in the South East to rent a chair in a hairdressers? Do you have to pay any other fees to the salon/landlord?

I have read that my wife will also need her own public liabiliy insurance etc and maybe pay a percentage of takings to the salon to cover shampoo etc?

Any help greatly appreciated.
