I've tried it and it works, but my hair smelled like baby lotion. Did not like that part about it. I prefer just to wait to buy the setting lotion.

Any kind of lotion is going to act like a conditioner on your hair. As long as you didn't use too much it would probably be good for your hair. I wouldn't use it on dry hair, but damp hair would work great.

no it is not good because it has chemicals that can dry and possibly damage your hair. i would recommend that u use hair moisturizer the ones that they sell in the beauty supply or your local drugstore those work perfectly much better then the baby lotion. and they make your hair healthier because you are moisturizing your hair. baby lotion does not have the oils your need for your hair. but u already know they work great on skin!

i have never heard of that before, except perhaps baby powder.
i don't think it's a good idea to use baby lotion on damp hair as oil and water cannot mix and you will end up looking like brandon davis. (paris hilton's bestfriend, this oil heir, who looks his part very well. the oil part i mean.)

i think you should stick to gel and wax/clay, since they cost about the same as baby lotion.

I've never heard that. The best thing to go is just buy styling gel.
