Hi

When you straighten your air you use extremely high tempetres to do so. This takes all the moisture out of your hair, leaving it dry and brittle (easy to break). The best thing is to straighten every second or third day, use ceramic straighteners, and use pre-straighten salon treatments.

Try to blow dry your hair strait in between straightening!

Good Luck!

Key: Don't use a cheap nonceramic straightener.

I straighten my hair every day I go out and it's still healthy. Want to know why... ? ? ?
Because I use the Sedu. The Sedu is a ceramic/tourmaline hair straightener. Because it has tourmaline and is ceramic it leaves your hair look shiny, smooth, and feeling VERY soft. I love it. It's the best thing I ever bought (as far as hair products) and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I set the heating on 410 degrees F to get the best results..and you know what? It doesn't even damage your hair.

You can buy one of your own at: www.folica.com. And if you DON'T like it, you can always return it within 30 days and get your money back. You've got nothing to loose except great hair (trust me on this one)!

Also, buy a cream you can put on your hair before straightening. I use the: Rusk Str8. It's amazing and makes my hair very antifrizz and anticurl. Try it with the Sedu and your hair can certainly be in shampoo comercials!

My daughter who also has curly hair has made the huge mistake of straightening her hair every day. She has lost so much hair do to breakage and basically melting her hair. Theses straighteners get way too hot for the hair shaft to handle, Plus it pulls on the hair while it straightens. Curly hair is beautiful....bald is not. Be very careful if you use this tool to much, the damage can be really awful. Good Luck

NO! The hair Police will arrest you!!!

Hahahahaha, sorry that was lame.

As for the straightening thing daily, its not really good for your hair, but it should still grow out fine. Try using less heat, and a protector or leave in conditioner to help your hair stay healthy and to avoid excessive dryness and breakage.

I wouldn't staighten it everyday. Use a product called "Turn Up the Heat" . It helps protect the hair from the heat of the straightener. Also keep it on a lower setting.

Your not suppose to straighten it every day, your only suppose to straighten it once every 2 weeks.

If you straighten it every day or every other day it will become more & more dameged.

Iknow it sucks to straight it every 2 weeks but if it gets frizzy youcould put gel on the front.

Your allowed to do what you want. But more you torture your hair, the more damaged it will become and it will be harder to grow because it will be constantly breaking.

no, cause you are damaging your hair and by ironing it every day you are getting rid of its natural moisture and dont wash hair everyday also!

you're allowed to do whatever you want, but straightening your hair everyday will certainly damage it - split ends and such.
