Hair - October 2006

Saturday was homecoming so I got my hair professionally done.
It still looks good and I'm just wondering, should I keep it in for school tomorrow? Would you think I was weird if you saw me?

I don't normally bother or care about my hair, which is typically very coarse, rough, and thick. However, it does bother me at times; even getting a hair cut is a bit of a hassle at times.

I was just wondering if there is anything I can do to make it less rough, and more smooth/silkier.

OK at skul my friends will start playing with my hair boys nd girls ...u will never believe y they play with it...it is cuz they like pulling my split ends....they tell me i should cut or trim my hair so it can grow faster but the last time i got a hair cut the woman cut it shortter than i told her i wanted it to be...i havent cut my hair in 3-4 years shud i get it cut or trimmed so my friends wont play with my split ends and is it a good idea to do it???

im trying to grow my hair but i have to get it trimmed so often as i get so many split ends! how can i prevent this?.... i straighten my hair everyday but i cant not do it coz it goes super frizzy

I like to highlight my hair every 5-6 months or so, but I have a problem. My hair gets really greasy on the scalp. It looks lifeless. I have to be careful with what I use , because I need color care. What exactly can I use or even what can I do to make it less greasy looking. I wash it at least every other day. I've had this problem most of my life. I've used numerous shampoos and conditioners. Any suggestions?

dont people ever get sick of blonde?? i mean to me it has become such a fake hair color. i no longer think its pretty. its so boring and now adays it seems like thats the only hair color people have. doesnt it seem so barbie like?? i used to hate my hair color (dark brown almost black) until i realized that not a lot of people have the same hair color as me and now i love it and wouldnt change it for the world. i guess im just sick of watching people drool over blonde haired blue eyed girls. i mean why are blondes considered prettier then other hair colors?

I have hair that is fairly thick, black and tends to curl up...into a very puffy fro like thing
Today I got a haircut, and the stylist layered my hair. Its is very puffy, and its managed to get knotted already, Do you guys have any ideas as to how I can make my hair look curly, but a little more relaxed? (Please keep in mind i have a limited budget!)

I've tried Nair for bikini, shaving with the best razors with hot water & soap, No Bump RX solution, new razors everytime. It just itches & there's infected tiny bumps everywhere. I even tried "baby-oil" theory. Doesn't work. Any girl do it all the time, what worked for you finally?

My daughter is 2 1/2 and has horrible hair. It is thin, ratty, and just a mess all the time. I try really hard to keep it looking good but it is a hopeless cause. Even after I wash it, it looks yucky. I took her to get her hair cut thinking that would help but the lady wouldn't cut it. She said it needs to grow out of the "baby stage". She suggested I use regular adult shampoo and not the baby or tearless kinds. I don't want to do this because it will burn her eyes. Can anyone help me that has had this problem and has had good luck with a certain product???
