Hair - October 2006

I have hair to mid back, I want to wear it up. I have a rhinestone headpiece I will wear. I just don't know if a veil is for 'younger' girls. I love the look of a veil.

Ok, so Im a guy with long hair. I normally wear it in a pony tail, and like nearly every girl I know is very envious of my hair. So the question I really have is do you look at a guy differently if he has long hair? a pony tail? what do you think about guys with long hair? Dirty hippie? Cool hipster? More attractive? Less?

right now i style it by gettin out of the shower, putting gel in it, and then letting it air dry. I NEED HELP! i have heard that if i get a perm it can help to relax my curls ? any thoughts on that ?

Hair type: Brown, layered hair a couple inches past shoulder. Bangs go just below nose.

I have split ends now, which is probably from straightening my hair alot. My questions are:

1)What can I use/do to fix my split ends and help prevent them when I straighten my hair?

2)How can I do loose waves for my hair style? Also, what ways can you use the loose waves to do other styles?

P.S. Specific products that you guys favorite would be really helpful! Thanks!!!

Im using a [[ Semi - dye ]]
I just did a strand test of 10 mins.
but nothing happend
If I actually do my whole
head an leave it in for
10 mins will it actually change the
color?
Or should I add 5 mins more
an take another strand test?

I bleached my hair today with Feria Bleach Kit, my roots turned out perfect, but the lengths of my hair are brassy yellow....so, I bleached again, and it doesn't look much better! Should I bleach again, or would a toner get rid of the brassiness? What can I do???

I'm getting bleach and a cut, but no style or blow dry. He is doing it at his home. What should I tip on a $85.00 charge. he is licensed and normally works at a prestigous salon. i'm probably saving $30-35, but like I said no style no blow dry.

Especially african american hair. I'm thinking of doing it after not doing so, in a while and I just wanted to make sure, it would be pretty ok. So, does it help the hair in being and growing healthier, with the proper amount of moisture applied? Or does it completely destroy it? Any amount of information is helpful. Especially for my type of hair.

I'm a guy and I'm 22 and I color my hair sometimes. For example when I was a brunette, I used brilliant brunette by John Frieda. Then I got my hair dyed professionally and it was a deep red so I used the Intense Red by John Frieda. Now, I dyed my hair blonde (ginger ale # 91 by Garnier Nutrisse) and it looks awesome. So I went out and bought Pantene Expressions for darker shades of blonde hair which mine is. Has anyone ever used this stuff and if you have, do you find that it REALLY works? Does it hold in your color? Does it make it more vibrant and shiny? That sounds so gay lol. Any answers would be appreciated (since I did spend $5.99 on Pantene lol.)

my husband has to shave his facial hairs everyday(they grow so fast) also it grows back very thick. he uses the triple blades but because of his thick facial hair, the blades get dull in no time. what can he do to help with not having to shave everyday and the thickness of the facial hair? dont be rude, i am trying to help him out and i know nothing about facial hair
