Do a bigger strand test...leave on longer too.

some hair varieties do not take colour from hair dye too properly.. Mine would not. each and every so often in case you bypass away it in for extremely an prolonged time the colour will final longer and be lots deeper in colour. on the grounds which you tried that, attempt coloring your hair lower back. do not bypass away it in for an quite long term or you should wreck your hair. And good selection on not bleaching your hair; it is a dying sentence for healthful hair.

If you're hair is dark and you're dying it a lighter color, it won't really show. You could try leaving it in longer, but I would recommend a stronger dye, or go to a salon--they'll definatley get the color you want (although prob more expensive, but it'll last longer).

id be doing another strand test.......and leave it on for a little longer as you said.....if your hair is dark and the color is lighter you may find that a semi wont work as there is no peroxide in them...........

It all depends what colour your hair is, and what colour your trying to dye it. the lighter your hair is, the easier to dye.
the longer u leave on ur colour, the stronger the dye will be, try that

Perhaps your hair is too dark for the color you're trying to make it.

you did not say what you was trying to do

if you are trying to lighten it semi's won't do that they will give you highlights and shine

to keep from damaging your hair go to a professional
