the back of my hair itches so much..i just scratched it and it started bleeding....there are also scabs near my roots sometimes..what could this be?
and does head and shoulders fade highlighted hair?

You may be allergic to your shampoo & conditioner or the chemicals in the highlighter kit. I break out from certain chemicals when it touches my scalp. Tammy

Its dandruff. The skin is drying, peeling up and/or flaking off. I get the same thing in the same place. Its hard not to scratch/pick, but if you can resist then the scabs will heal. Treat the dandruff and you'll be fine. I don't think you have any reason to freak out.
P.S.-->I find that using a wide-toothed brush and blow-dryer helps knock out the lose skin and stop the itching....

dont itch so hard
wash ur hair every day
and i am for sure i dont have lice my mom is a nurse and she checked my hair

hon. it won't matter about head and shoulders, if you lose your hair! use it. You could have irritated your scalp by tinting

get someone to check for head lice. sometimes they are so hard to see , you can only see them when you comb them out with a very fine toothed comb.
