I have split ends now, which is probably from straightening my hair alot. My questions are:

1)What can I use/do to fix my split ends and help prevent them when I straighten my hair?

2)How can I do loose waves for my hair style? Also, what ways can you use the loose waves to do other styles?

P.S. Specific products that you guys favorite would be really helpful! Thanks!!!

I can't help you with the split ends from straitening your hair, I have the same problem, I straiten my hair every day.

As For curling it in loose curls or wave I recommend you get to things, Bed head: Small talk. It comes in a purple round container with a green top. And the next thing Is Dove:Anti-frizz. Okay once you have these two things you wash your hair, don't use conditioner unless you need to,okay next you dry your hair a little bit with a towle, you no just shake out most of the water, next thing you do get out a bottle of hair spray, It can be any kind as long as it has a strong hold effect, it should say on the bottle, okay take the bed head and squirt about 4 or 5 times and rub in your hands and then scrunch it in your hair and keep scrunching it then hold your hair on your head as if it were in a bun, and you could even get a couple more squirts off bed head and hold it up there for about 2 minutes and let it down and start to spary the hair spray, spray quite a bit then get out your hair drier and scrunch your hair as you dry it but every like 2 minutes spary more hair spary and then continue drying, when your hair feels somewhat dry, get about 3 or 4 squirts of the Dove and hold it like in a bun like before, and wait about a minute or so and spray Alot of hair spray and continue with drying and scrunching and spraying, untin your hair is quite a bit dry, then you spray Alot more hair spary and you are done

I just did this to my hair today and it turned out great and I am sure it will work for you too, And also don't be afraid to add stuff, you could hook you part of your bangs or you could straiten them, Oh and also, it may sound like it will take a long time, but I can assure you it doesn't, it takes me about 30 minutes and I have some what thick hair, so try it out =)

I really hope this helps you out!! =)

Here are a few suggestions on how to style your hair:

1. Pigtails--
I know these may seem childish, but they are coming back in style. Not high pigtails, but low ones.

2.A bun--
Put your hair up in a ponytail, but then pull it through once more, but not all of the way. Keep it in the bun.

3. Braid--
A loose braid off to the side is very sexy. Even better - a french braid.

4. Half - N - Half --
Take the top layer of your hair and clip it up, while leaving the bottom half down. This works really well with thick hair.

I hope those suggestions helped!!

1)use a thermal protectant before you apply any type of heat to your hair...there are lots out there that protect against hair straighteners.....to fix the split ends, first get them cut off, use of deep conditioner to repair hair damage(they do it at the salons for $10)..and just protect against thermal styling.
2)It looks like you don't have layers in your hair...I suggest getting layers cut into your hair..it makes the curls bouncier and stuff

You MUST clip your ends (about 1/2 inch) - that is the only way to get rid of split ends.
2.) Try FrizzEase hair straightning serum

you can't fix split ends, you can only cut them. use Dove hair treatments in the shower, and paul mitchell flat iron oil.
