I have hair to mid back, I want to wear it up. I have a rhinestone headpiece I will wear. I just don't know if a veil is for 'younger' girls. I love the look of a veil.

a veil has nothing to do w/ the age of the bride. if you like the way it looks, then it's a go.

Nah, your wedding is the one day all about you. Your one goal should be to have things as perfect as possible. However you feel most beautiful is how you should dress. I'm certain the veil used to have some sort of symbolic meaning, although I'm not sure what.... but these days it's just a fashion accessory. If you're not sure about covering your face, you could wear it back over your hair instead of in front. Have a lovely wedding!

If you're wearing a formal or semi-formal wedding gown, a veil is just right. It wouldn't go with, say, a business suit, but if you're wearing a rhinestone "headpiece" -- like a tiara, maybe? -- I suspect you're going to be dressed to the nines. If you are, a veil will fit right in.

of course your not too old for a veil YOu are Only 30! how could u be to old?!!!
i think veils are for older ladys (which you are not) personally though...
but i think, that if you think you are to old for a veil...heres what you should do...
put it up in a nice bun. put simple white flowers on one side of the bun...modern, simple, and beautiful
OR
do the bun thing, but with a cute tiara- very classic and elegant
OR
i think it is absoulutely beautiful if...
you put your hair down, and make it wavy, this is especially pretty if you have long, dark hair.
BUT i know u want your hair up so...
ive seen pictures of a really nice ponytail with a tiara...that looks really cute
or do the bun thing i mentioned above.

It is your wedding, your special day, and I think you can wear a veil if you want to. To me a veil adds to the occasion. Congrats!

it's your wedding, you should dress how you like. if it looks good and you like it, wear the veil! just don't concentrate on how old you look, everyone is there because they want to be there for you. And congratulations.
