Guys with long hair?

Ok, so Im a guy with long hair. I normally wear it in a pony tail, and like nearly every girl I know is very envious of my hair. So the question I really have is do you look at a guy differently if he has long hair? a pony tail? what do you think about guys with long hair? Dirty hippie? Cool hipster? More attractive? Less?

Long hair is usually a plus for me. Either in a pony tail or hanging free. Chin-length cuts also look cool.

U know wut... if we go back to the early man... All men used to have long hair, It was nothing abnormal or feminine, its the progressive nature of man that made him cut his hair. Honestly, even today i still dont know the exact reason why a man should have short hair and a woman should have long hair, Do u see any concrete reason behind it? At least I dont.. im a guy in my teenage and i love to flaunt my shoulder length hair.
It all depends on the attitude of people around that makes a guy look good or bad sporting long hair, If the people around you are conservative they'll definitely not like it(like my parents), and if the people are broad-minded , people with progressive ideas and a passion for lifestyle and its different aspects like music, fashion, trends etc. then they'll definitely like ur taste. After all finally, people have nothing to do in this case, its ur hair and u gotta keep it the way u like it, let them say whatever they like. This is ur life... this is ur lifestyle, if people dont like it, theyve got the f****** door they can approach ...

Personally, I don't like guy with long hair.... I prefer short hair clean cut guys... Looks more manly to me... But I know some girls are crazy with long hair guys tho....

I like guys with long hair. I wish I could get my hair to look that good. What I do not like is long hair that is not clean and brushed. pony tail or loose does not matter.

It depends on the guy, my man has long hair, but he's mad because he can't get it as long as mine lol! But my group of people are like the punk rockers, and head bangers, so if you like your hair long thats cool, it's who you are, don't change for anyone. Rock on and stay cool.

It looks nice, if it is kept clean, and neat, but nothing looks worse than long hair that is dirty and looks like it has never been combed or brushed. Then it looks good both ways down or in pony tail.

It depends if your hair is neat and clean and well maintained. If you just pull it back into a pony tail with little regard to its cleanliness etc. , I might think you don't much care about your appearance.

Depends on thickness ( thin long looks shabby ) and on grooming. Gerard Butler in Attila looked super hot in long hair, I will refrain from dissing those who don't. It will totally vary with the individual, kinda like mini skirts on girls, some can, some shouldn't.

Of course, it all depends, as many others have said.

In my personal opinion, unless it is seriously well maintained, hair past the shoulders on guys is a no-no. For others, its hot. As for the "dirty hippie" thing. No. Just no. I like my men with hygiene, thank you very much.

I think long hair is sooooooo outdated, and my ex husband still has the same long hair that he had when i first fell inlove. It drives me crazyyyyy. There are very few guys that still look good with long hair and and i mean very few(just my opinion) but for the most part it just looks so outdated. I used to loveeeeee Motley crue, Axl Rose, Poison........etc with all their long hair but now its just a little outdated. I wish my ex husband would cut his so i wouldnt have to be embarrassed about telling people hes my ex. haha. I perfer the short clean cut look. If you like your hair a little long you can consider the new college look where the guys have their hair covering their ears.
