Hair - September 2006

My hair was long and lustrous but of late the scalp on my head is seen as hair is sparse.I use a medicated ayurvedic oil or navaratna , but it has not helped.I keep my hair and head clean. I am44 years of age.

i have some dandruff like thing appearing on my head . it is not dandruff but it is like brown things . i know its not psoriasis as it is not white . .Dr told me to take some medicines and i don' think itz helping me . so plz help me
p.s. other people have started noticing it . i can't stand that

I am living in Germany. I dont know if it is because of the water here, since 2 years I started to lose hairs. I noticed that it will get better when I am not in Germany. I dont know why. Maybe somebody has some ideas how to stop the hair falling?

There are alot of hair products out there. I have naturally curly hair, and recently bought some expensive hair straighteners. Can anyone recommend a good product to stop it kinking after a few hours, and ending up like a flicked 80's throwback disaster effect? I have tried frizz-ease and John Freda...any others that are better?

I've been thinking of cutting my hair to shoulder length..at present it is below my waist...I'm finding it very difficult to take the plunge and just do it....I had my mind half made up and then my daughter told me that I would regret it..I'm in two minds about it...it's not an issue of vanity..I think my long hair symbolises something spiritual to me..Hope I don't sound too crazy..I'm serious about this ..thanks.
