I don't know what it's called in guys. But for woman, I've always heard it was called a love line. Because you didn't grow one until you were old enough to appreciate what true love really was. The longer it was, supposedly the more loving you were. And it was supposed to be bad luck to shave it. I can't speak for women, but on a man, it's extremely attractive. Yeah, unless you're modeling for some magazine (ever notice how men in magazines have no hair whasoever? How totally unnatural!) I think it's extremely gay to shave it. MEN WERE MEANT to have hair. That's why they're men! I met a guy once, dated him, until he told me that he even shaved his testicles because it kept him cooler in the summer. It grossed me out so bad I just didn't want to date him anymore. Sorry.

A lot of people refer to it as a happy trail, treasure trail, stairway to heaven, or garden path, but happy trail is usually preferred.

All women will have hair in that area. Some will have short blonde hairs, while others will have longer ones. Some women will even have darker hair growing in that area. It's all based on genetics.

Also, I'm gay and I still wouldn't shave it. I think that a lot of people are a little freaked out if it isn't there. A lot of girls also like it if it is there, so it all depends. I don't think that many people mind it unless you are overly hairy.

I have always heard it called the happy trail, I think that it is attractive, however my husband does not so he shaves it off. Girls have it to but it is not as noticeable or they shave it off.

I say your husband has considered greater women persons's bellybuttons than you have, or a minimum of watched them greater carefully. i've got not made a learn of the intimate areas of various thousand women persons (nevertheless i may be happy to volunteer for the placement! :-), yet in my admittedly constrained adventure with the "happy path," in hassle-free terms approximately 20% of the ladies persons i've got been intimate with have been so geared up. Now, technically of direction, there is hair on maximum of a man or woman's dermis. yet in 70% to 80% of the ladies persons with whom i've got been close sufficient to video reveal, there is not any sizeable hair between the navel and the ultimate of the pubic hair -- quite no greater advantageous than, say, on their rib cage or their hip bones.
