There are alot of hair products out there. I have naturally curly hair, and recently bought some expensive hair straighteners. Can anyone recommend a good product to stop it kinking after a few hours, and ending up like a flicked 80's throwback disaster effect? I have tried frizz-ease and John Freda...any others that are better?

After straightening it I use Lee Stafford Poker Straight Spray. I's about £5, but it's really good. You can buy it from boots

If your hair is extremely wavy and course-ish in texture, you really need to get your hair chemically straightened. It will save you so much time and effort, and it gives you a semi-permanent result (you must repeat the process on the new growth every 8-12 weeks). Unfortunately, no shampoo, conditioning, nor 'frizz-controlling' products work effectively on really resistant hair.

Phone around to your local hair salons and ask if they do chemical straighteners, if one that you call doesn't, they will likely know of a salon that does provide this service. If not, just keep calling around until you find someone. Make sure that the stylist is experienced with this procedure and ask what their qualifications are in chemical straightening. (You could have a disaster on your hands if you don't go to a qualified professional technician.)

It will probably cost you between £45 -£100 (the lower price if you live in the West Midlands or Wales; the higher price if you live in London or someplace like that.) Your stylist will also be able to recommend some top-quality professional shampoos and conditioners that will keep your hair looking healthy, conditioned and straight.

I have my hair chemically straightened and it is the best thing I ever did for myself. My hair looks perfectly straight, sleek and shiny. I hope you find this helpful, if you need any more information about it, just e-mail me.

Its all in the straightening, i have naturally very curly hair, i invested in a good pair of straightners and i use frizz ease. It takes me about an hour to straighten my shoulder length thick hair, as i make sure every section is poker straight and dry b4 moving onto the next. It stays straight untill the next time its washed.
Practice practice and practice im afraid!!

The best product for your hair is Aloe oil made from aloe vera product. We have shampoo, neutralizers and oils that are made from the same product. Wash your hair once a week with shampoo and apply the neutralizer, rinse well to dry then apply the oil and comb to any style. You will look awesome and your will be amazed how you hair will grow tremendously and also be strong. Chao

Go to the hairdressers and have a permanent straightener put on your hair. Takes about 4 hours but leaves hair poker straight and in excellent condition.
