My hair is naturally curly and has been quite damaged by due to straightening it so often. I've stopped doing that and cutting out on as much heat styling as possible. I was wondering though if there is a product that can be used to reduce dryness, frizziness and rebelliousness and make it smoother. A product that can be used in between shampoos. Also, I usually do straighten my bangs if i tie my hair. they look alright, but once i step outside they start to curl. ive tried using pomade but no luck. plus, theres always flyaways. any tips?

Is it me or does anyone else not like the change? The new scent of Pantene isn't as nice as the old and my hair just isn't the same. Same with the Herbal Essence. Why can't they give us a choice between the old and new and why change things if they work well to begin with?

A hairdresser told me store bought products aren't good for your hair and I should only use Salon products. She suggested buying them on ebay so I don't think she was trying to sell me something but I'm not sure. Do professionals really never use store bought products?

I have layered hair below my shoulders, and I'm trying to get it all in the same lenght to get a new haircut, I don't want to cut the ends to make it grow 'cause if I do the layers will still be there.

Is there anything I can do to make it grow faster? Like a shampoo, treatments, vitamins, or stuff like that?

I just dyed my hair dark, dark brown (almost black) about two weeks ago . . . I had previously gone to a salon and had it highlighted so my hair is several colors under this dyed hair, ranging from blonde to dark brown) . . . after i dyed my hair dark, I decided I dont like it this dark and want it a little lighter. Alot of the black/brown dye has washed out, but it's still too dark.
What should I do?
I saw some haircolour that lifts your brown color lighter, but I dont know if this is for non dyed hair only . . .
I've done alot with my hair over the years, but now it's pretty healthy . . . I dont want to go back to the salon because I'm mad at my stylist for not listening to my request last time (I had asked for dark brown hair with red highlights, I came out of the salon with the medium/light brown hair with blonde highlights, he completely ignored what I said) so going back to the salon is out of the question . . . are there any new products out to help me?

My hair is naturally big and full and curly. I straighten it every night and wear it to work the next morning (its still clean) but somewhere between my car and work something goes terribly, terribly wrong. It get big and poofy and the ends curl under and it bothers the hell out of me! I've used hairsray to cut back on the flyaways, but I dont know what to do about this issue. HELP ME PLEASE!!! thanks!
