V05 freeze gel is the best I think. It gives a gelled look which i like but not overly so unlike shockwaves which looks like you've spent 3 days in a chip fryer. V05 freeze gel also holds the style well. And will get you the ladies like there's no tomorrow.

I enjoy using Paul Mitchell products, have had really good success. Don't go for cheap products, they damage your hair.
